Shows situations in television production in which the choice between a cut and a mix has to be made and gives some guidelines to assist the director in making the correct decision. In many cases the exact timing of a cut can be important, and examples are shown and explained in detail, showing cutting on action and on change of ideas. Intended for trainee television producers.
