Episode of Series “Approaching Automation”.
This film deals with the cutting of materials, using cutting, milling, drilling, turning. facing and threading machinery. Points out the advantages of pneumatic and electrical equipment over manual labour. Questions the applicability of some methods of cutting in use and sums up the benefits of part and full automation of existing plant.
