Dartmouth Dam, on the Mitta Mitta River in Victoria, has been designed to manage the waters of the River Murray for irrigation and urban needs. This film tells the story of the making of Dartmouth Dam including the study of plant and animal life. Reminiscences about the old Dartmouth township, and plans for the new town of Dartmouth. Narrated by Simon Chilvers.
