Captures the devastation caused to the city of Darwin by Cyclone Tracy on 24th and 25th December 1974. It is described by Mike Hayes, an ABC reporter who experienced the cyclone and shows the massive emergency operation that followed. Included are comments by the Prime Minister of the time, Gough Whitlam, as well as statements by Dr. Jim Cairns, and Major-General Alan Stretton.
