Episode of Series “Tales from Charles Dickens”.
Excerpts from Charles Dickens’ “David copperfield”. Features Robert Morley as Mr Micawber, one of Dickens’ most memorable characters. Tells of young David’s arrival in London, and his befriending by the Micawbers. Mr Micawber is subsequently imprisoned for debt, is released and departs for Plymouth where with characteristic optimism he is sure “something will turn up”.
