Deep threat = Mer mere

Humour helps bring home a serious point in this animated, wordless film. The sea has its own laws and man is accountable to them. Man is shown evolving from the sea, then developing industry and the wastes that pollute that same sea. (Awards: Toulon, San Antonio)
