Episode of Series “Counselling Adolescents”.
A dramatization of an incident showing a counsellor’s diagnosis and treatment of a maladjusted student’s emotional problem is used in explaining the role of the counsellor in the over-all school program. Describes the steps in successful counselling - determining the cause of the problem, easing the student’s anxieties and strain, planning courses of action, and assisting the student in making new adjustments.
