Carl Dometsch, probably the greatest recorder player of all time, is head of the Dolmetsch workshops in Haslemere where many ancient musical instruments have been reconstructed and copied. Dr Dolemetsch describes the history of the recorder and demonstrates the musical qualities of each member of the recorder family. Suitable for secondary school level.
