Advocates the popularising of the BCG vaccine to fight tuberculosis. BCG or Bacillus Calmette Guerin was developed at the Pasteur Institute in Paris after many years of research. It was first tested on human beings in 1921 and proved an inexpensive, speedy and effective method for the prevention and eradication of tuberculosis.
