The movement of water in plants is demonstrated using fluorescent solutions and time-lapse photographic techniques. Solutions absorbed into the plants formed an illuminated network of leaf structure which was photographed. The movement of liquid is demonstrated in the leaves, young twigs and stems of different types of plants. In German only.
