After indicating the immense cost to the community involved in fires, the film shows the work of the Survey Department of the Fire and Accident Underwriters’ Association, and the Commonwealth Expeprimental Building Station in reducing fire hazards. Two types of automatic alarm are shown in action and the work of the fire brigades is described.
