Episode number 1 of Series “Introducing Chemistry”.
This is the first of three films for a beginning unit in chemistry. It explains and demonstrates the basic language of chemistry, the symbols used in formulas and equations. Acids, bases and salts are defined in terms of their formulas. Basic terms encountered include compound, gas, precipitate and radical as well as the concepts of structural formulas and “balanced” equations.
