Siriparsad Guring returns to his Himalayan village after a 4-year term in a Gurkha regiment. He buys some land to farm and tries to settle back into village life with his wife and young child. After a few months he grows restless, realising that army service has alienated him from his former lifestyle. Narrated by John Gaden.
