The life of sheepdogs on the central uplands of Germany. Shows how the dogs guard the sheep and lead them from pasture. Studies the main stages in the development of a litter from a week after birth. Gives an impression of the very different life of a dog that has been trained as a house dog. Intended for children aged 7-10.
