Presents the story of Grant Wood, an American self-taught artist who painted the gentle curves of his neighbouring hills, the neatly ploughed fields, the daily routine of western life as well as such classic themes in American History as Paul Revere’s ride. The film brings together a collection of Grant Wood’s best work. Credits include: photography by John Lewis; music by Lan Adomian. Narrated by Henry Fonda.
