The design, construction and testing of the Avro Vulcan, the world’s first four-jet delta-wing bomber, now playing an important role in Britain’s defence system. An historical introduction includes sequences on the Vulcan’s famous predecessor, the Lancaster, and shows some of its wartime exploits.
