The round-the-clock activities of a typical London day described by a young American girl in her diary. Arriving by air at dawn, she explores London - the Tower of London, a search for the site of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar Square, a glimpse of the procession of the Household Cavalry at Hyde Park Corner, the streets, shops and parks, a visit to a riverside pub at dusk, dinner at a West End restaurant and a midnight cabaret.
