A supervisor who knows the “book rules” for human relations finds himself in trouble when trying to apply them to people on the job. Points out the things a man with supervisory responsibility needs to know about the way different people react to different situations, and the use he can make of this knowledge to improve his own job function and that of the people he supervises.
