Brings attention to the changing look of specialisation in machinery and how computer technology affects it. In doing so, we see that skills must be relocated so that single production becomes multiple production. Here, 2CL is a computer language that operators must learn which control machinery movement. The language is everyday English that is contracted to six letters, eg “diamet” for diameter.
