A brief survey of the geography of Italy. A map is used to explain the position of the Alps and the Appennines and also the main cities and regions of the country. Illustrations include views of citrus groves in Southern Italy; Mt. Vesuvius; Naples; Rome, the city; St. Peter’s, the tomb of Hadrian; silk-worm culture; wheat and rice growing; hydro-electric plant in the Alps; factories in Milan.
