The kinship between humans and nature is shown in this film designed to inform on all aspects of Japanese life and the countryside during the four seasons of the year. We see the modern industrial Japan and the ancient traditional ways which are still evident in ceremonies, festivals, arts and crafts, buildings and rural areas.
