This film shows the work of UNESCO/Ceylon Government Fundamental Education Project at Minneriya in Ceylon. At this centre, men are trained for work in the villages, including the teaching of better farming methods, the stimulation of local industries, health education and adult education. The emphasis in teaching is on a sympathetic approach and pictorial illustration.
