A record of the life and work of war photographer Damien Parer who, after working with the Commonwealth Film Unit, left with the first A.I.F. contingent for the Middle East. Includes extracts from some of his films and interviews with his wife and other close associates. (Awards: Winner of Silver Award, Documentary category, Australian Film Awards, 1965)
