A Norwegian farm family, living near Bergen, illustrate how people in a northerly latitude adjust their lives and seasonal occupations to the demands of climate and topography. The family is seen harvesting hay and grains during the short Norwegian summer. In the winter-time children sky to school and their brothers and fathers are busy fishing and cutting timber.
