A study of the effect of geographical and other environmental factors on the life of the crofters of the Scottish highlands. The crofter’s house, and the sources of supply of water and fuel are seen, together with the cultivation of crops on their patch of ground in the summer, and their winter occupation of spinning and weaving the wool obtained from their sheep.
