The challenge of the South Pacific. Fiji has a coconut based economy which has produced new wealth and new problems for the people; learning the value of labour and the use of money. Tells of the combined efforts of government officials and missionaries to solve these problems. Graduates of the Seventh Day Adventist Medical Training College in Lae, New Guinea, help village people learn personal hygiene, and sanitation as well as how to overcome fears and superstitions.
