A Renaissance man in the modern world - patron of the arts, film maker, stage designer and director, opera producer. This is Luchino Visconti who recently came to London to produce a memorable “Il Trovatore” at Covent Garden. He talks about his work in an interview with Edmund Tracey of the Observer newspaper.
