The making of a steel bumper by a machine press is used to illustrate the skill of the makers of press tools, the punch and the die, by means of which quantities of bumpers can be produced with a minimum of skilled labour. A vocational guidance film showing the skilled work of the tool maker in large-scale production engineering.
