Introduces the concept of male and female in plants and animals. Animation is used to show the locations of reproductive organs in different kind plants and animals: algae, flowering plants, insects, fish, amphibians, birds, and mammals, including humans. Through microphotography, various kinds of sperm cells and egg cells are closely examined. A human sperm is observed entering an egg cell.
