How the Mallee farmer is overcoming the problems of former bad land use and wind erosion by modern agricultural methods. Soil conservation competitions, educational field days, and advisory services also are helping the farmer to improve land use. The film shows how this vast Mallee country has a big production potential for cereals, wool and meat.
