Shows uses of atomic materials in medical research and diagnosis; illustrates, through a sequence involving a brain tumour, the use of radioactive materials as tracers in the detection and location of disease; and describes atomic research in the treatment of hyperthyroidism, cancer and arteriosclerosis.
