Episode of Series “Horizon”.
A survey of the research done to study how our mental activities affect the development of illness in our lives, and the development of technique by which patients can be taught to use the activity of the mind to produce bodily changes in some of the physiological systems that are most associated with the onset of illness. Also discusses biofeedback - the control of the electrical activity of the brain.
