Miss Havisham, disappointed in love so many years ago, lives among the decayed remains of her wedding banquet. She sponsors a local village boy Pip, but with an ulterior motive - to break his heart through her ward Estella. Cast includes William Demarest, Jane Asher and Joan Hickson.
