Episode of Series “Music in Motion”.
Scenes of the flower gardens at Paris’ Louvre and Tuileries Park, children playing, fluffy chicks running about, the bustling market place at Limoges and the Paris Catacombs are shown to express part of Moussorgsky’s composition “Pictures at an Exhibition”. The composer wrote the music to pay homage to paintings by his friend Victor Hartmann.
