Time-lapse photographic techniques and close-up photography are used in this film to study the lifecycles and habits of a number of insects found in a suburban garden. Illustrates the following: ladybirds attacking aphides; aphis lion eating aphides; new hatched stink bugs; the codlin moth; caterpillar and cabbage moth; camouflage as illustrated by grasshoppers; preying mantis catching and eating flies; spiders hiding and eating moths; leaf-cutting spiders.
