Shows the highway which pushes its way for 350 miles from the coast into the highlands, bringing communication to dozens of tribes for the first time. With Bird of Paradise feathers streaming behind him, the ochre-painted “warrior” from the highlands careers down to Goroka on a bicycle for the Highland Agricultural Show.
