Episode of Series “New Horizons”.
The aims and activities of the ‘Outward Bound’ girls’ residential course at Rhewniar in the rugged country of mid-west Wales. Shows the arrival of a new course and the girls being introduced to the accommodation and facilities. Includes fitness training, tuition in camp craft, canoe construction, rope work, home nursing, drama and self expression. The girls are seen accepting the ever increasing challenge of mountains, rivers and open waters in progressive expeditions. Photographed by Alan Masters, edited by Stella Smallwood, music by Denis Moonan, commentary by Richard Baker.
