An essential step for European cooperation has been reached in the field of energy supply. The continually changing requirements of electricity at different times of day, different seasons and weather conditions, is being supplied by power plants. With voltages up to 380,000 volts high tension wires thousands of miles long cross the frontier and provide power to all European countries.
