A re-creation of Paris between the years 1900 and 1914, assembled from extracts from contemporary newsreels and other films. Great ladies, actresses and beauties, famous politicians , sportsmen and artists and the varied incidents of those years - from Bleriot’s flight across the channel to the eve of the 1914 war. Narrated by Monty Woolley.
