Uses a typical case history to show how symptoms of diabetes may be recognised. Preceding with consultation, examination, and diagnosis, the film then follows the patient through stages in treatment at the hospital. A nurse teaches a patient how to administer insulin injections, regulate diet, and make the Benedict test for sugar in the urine.
