The official report of the National Commission on Population and the American future, which was created by Congress at the request of President Nixon. Summarises the effects of increased population growth, with conclusions and recommendation on how to stop this growth. One of the recommendations made by the Report was “to bring the working poor and those who cannot find work, into the mainstream of the economic society” - interesting projections into the future (circa 1973)!
