Records the planning, construction, and opening of the Owen Falls hydro-electric station near the source of the Nile River. A model is used to explain the purpose of the various dams. Stresses the importance of the dam to Uganda, for as well as harnessing power for industry it will provide an adequate year-round supply of water.
