A biographical film of H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh. A Prince of the Greek Royal House, H.R.H. was virtually adopted by the family of his British uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten. It was at the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth during a Royal visit that he had an early meeting with Princess Elizabeth. The film includes footage of H.R.H. visitng Paris and Washington, tours of South Africa and Canada and closes dramatically with his declaration of allegiance to the Queen at her Coronation. Narrated by Jack Hawkins and John Arlott.
