Douglas and Pakistani Ambassador Mohammed Ali discuss the development of Pakistan in the five and a half years of its existence as an independent nation and the strategic importance of the famed Khyber Pass. Surveys the industrial and construction programs for modernizing the country, and presents the problem of Kashmir, an area claimed by both Pakistan and India.
