Acceptance sampling for different types of defects is considered. Presents single, double and multiple sampling plans showing, the practical advantages and disadvantages of each. Treats only acceptance sampling based on attributes. Descriptive treatment is used but the mathematical background is not given. The executive implications are discussed from both the consumer’s and the producers’s point of views.
