Episode of Series “Horizon”.
Looks at the space part surgery business, of which the very fundamental technical problems remain to be solved after thirty-five years. Only very simple artificial limbs are possible. Hospitals and medical centres are visited in search of bionic man and finally the program tries to visualise what an actual bionic man would look like.
