Film director Jean Renoir talks about the work of his father Auguste Renoir, the important impressionist painter, and of their home Les Collettes Cagnes-sur-mer in the south of France. It is shot in the house and grounds of the home which Renoir the elder painted many times and which is now a museum. Many of Renoir’s great works are seen there. Interview by Huw Wheldon.
