Works on roads and bridges as carried out by the Country Roads Board in all parts of Victoria. Among these shown are the widening of old roads and bridges; testing local materials in field laboratories; experimental lengths of road surfaces; erecting an emergency Bailey bridge after the collapse of an old bridge; eliminating road/rail intersections (the Clifton Hill overpass); and redesigning major intersections for safe traffic flow.
