A film record of the delivery flight of the first Convair Aircraft purchased by Trans-Australia Airlines. The aircraft travelled 18,000 miles in 72 hours on its round-the-world trip, passing over 25 countries on its flight from San Diego, USA, to Melbourne. Photography by Geoffrey Thompson.
