Looks at the activities of the section of the Royal Flying Doctor Service based at Broken Hill in outback New South Wales. Presents a dramatisation in which a doctor joins the service and is given an introduction to the operational methods of the Broken Hill Base. The vast outback area which must be covered and the people who are the potential patients are made known to the new doctor.
